Billing

HSS is billed based on the protection quotas you purchase and the value-added services you use. For details, see Table 1.

All value-added services are in the open beta test (OBT) phase. For details about the price, see the price displayed on the purchase page when you subscribe to a value-added service.

Pay-per-use container image scan

Pay-per-use scans on repository images and CI/CD images are available for purchase.

If you need to scan repository images and CI/CD images, you can enable pay-per-use container image scan. It can be enabled for any HSS edition.

This service is billed per successful scan per image. You can enjoy a discount for every scan after the first 10,000 each month.

After enabling this service, you can get 10 free virus scans every month when coming to its page the first time in a month.

The pay-per-use container image scan is in the OBT phase. The unit price is subject to the price displayed on the sales page.

Value-added container WTP

If you have web tamper protection requirements for containers, you can purchase container WTP.

Before purchasing this service, ensure you have enabled or will enable the HSS container edition for your container nodes. The container WTP depends on the container edition and cannot work independently.

Unit price of container WTP x Required duration

The container WTP is in the OBT phase. The unit price is subject to the price displayed on the sales page.

If you configure advanced settings, such as Cloud Backup and Recovery (CBR), you also need to pay for them. For details, see Table 2.

You can purchase a backup vault to store backups generated by servers.

You are billed based on the vault capacity. For details, see Cloud Backup Price Details.

Billing Examples

Suppose you purchased a yearly/monthly HSS premium edition on March 08, 2023, 15:50:04, and renewed the subscription for one more month before the initial subscription expires. The following usage periods will be billed:

  • March 08, 2023, 15:50:04 to April 08, 2023, 23:59:59
  • April 08, 2023, 23:59:59 to May 08, 2023, 23:59:59
