Prerequisites

Before performing this practice, subscribe to a CodeArts package and configure permissions for each role.

This practice uses the Windows OS as an example.

  • Windows OS: Windows 11 (x64) is recommended. For Windows 10 (x64), the version must be 2019 or later, and upgrading to the latest stable version is advised.
  • macOS: macOS 11 or later, compatible with ARM64 (Apple Silicon).
  • Linux: Linux (ARM64) architecture, glibc version ≥ 2.31, glibcxx version ≥ 3.4.26.

Third-party software version

Node.js≥18.0.0

Purchasing a CodeArts Package

  1. Sign up for a HUAWEI ID and enable Huawei Cloud services.
  2. Use your HUAWEI ID to log in to the Buy CodeArts package page.
  3. Configure the CodeArts package parameters. In this practice, the Free package is used as an example.

    Auto-renew

    Enable

    This parameter is optional. Enable it as needed. Once enabled, the package will be automatically renewed when it expires.

    • Required duration in months: The package will renew for 1 month each time. The number of renewal times is unlimited.
    • Required duration in years: The package will renew for 1 year each time. The number of renewal times is unlimited.

  4. Click Enable.

    After purchasing the free package with a HUAWEI ID, proceed with Setting a Project Creator.

Setting a Project Creator

  1. Open the CodeArts homepage using your HUAWEI ID.

    1. Log in to the CodeArts console using your HUAWEI ID, click , and select AP-Singapore.
    2. Click Go to Workspace in the upper right corner.

  2. Click the username on the top navigation bar and choose All Account Settings.
  3. Choose General > Project Creators.
  4. Select All members can create projects. After that, all IAM users in your account can create projects.

    After setting the project creator, proceed with Creating a CodeArts Project and Setting CodeCheck Rules.
