Granting a Browser the Permission of Using Microphones

The permission of using microphones can be granted to a Google Chrome or macOS browser.

    The Settings page is displayed.

  2. In the navigation pane, choose Privacy and security.
  3. In the right pane, click Site Settings. The Site Settings page is displayed.
  4. In the Permissions area, click Microphone. The page for granting the permission of using microphones is displayed.

Select Sites can ask to use your microphone. If this option is selected by default, no more operation is needed.

  5. Click the return icon in the upper left corner to return to the Site Settings page.
  6. In the Permissions area, click Camera. The page for granting the permission of using cameras is displayed.

Select Sites can ask to use your camera. If this option is selected by default, no more operation is needed.

  7. After the preceding settings are complete, when the browser needs to use the microphone or camera, a dialog box asking you for the permission is displayed. In this case, grant the permission.
