How Is One-in-Multiple-Out Video Transcoding Billed?

One-in-multiple-out video transcoding indicates that you use a template with multiple output resolutions for transcoding. For details, see Transcoding Settings.

For one-in-multiple-out video transcoding, you need to pay for all transcoding outputs.

The unit price for each output depends on the codec used, output resolution, and whether low-bitrate HD is enabled. For details, see VOD Pricing Details. For example:

Transcoding template: low-bitrate HD disabled, H.264 codec, frame rate greater than 30 fps, and three output resolutions configured: 4K (3840 X 2160, 8000), HD (1280 x 720, 1500), and SD (640 x 480, 900).

Video duration: 1,000 minutes

Based on the output specifications, the unit price for each transcoding stream is determined as follows:
  • 4K (3840 X 2160, 8000): billed based on the H.264 - 4K (3840 x 2160) or lower - > 30 fps and ≤ 60 fps tier
  • HD (1280 x 720, 1500): billed based on the H.264 - HD (1280 x 720) or lower - > 30 fps and ≤ 60 fps tier
  • SD (640 x 480, 900): billed based on the H.264 - SD (640 x 480) or lower - >30 fps and ≤ 60 fps tier

Under the pay-per-use billing mode, the transcoding costs will be $111.5 USD, calculated as (0.0159 + 0.0318 + 0.0638) x 1,000.

If you have purchased a H.264 transcoding package, a total of 7,000 minutes (1,000 + 1,000 x 2.5/1.25 + 1000 x 5/1.25) will be deducted from your package.
