Configuring a Triggering Policy of a Region Release Task
Set a triggering policy for a region release task so that the release task can be started when the configured triggering policy is met.
Prerequisites
The region release task has been created. For details, see Creating a Region Release Task.
Procedure
- Log in to ServiceStage.
- Choose Release Management.
- Click Try new edition now or Try New Edition to switch to the Release Management page of the new version.
The data of the old and new versions are isolated. Switching them will not cause release task data loss.
- Choose Region Release Tasks.
- Use either of the following methods to go to the page for configuring the triggering policy:
- Directly access: Click More > Set Trigger Policy in the Operation column of the target release task.
- Access after viewing details: Click the target release task. After Viewing Region Release Task Details, choose ... > Configure Trigger in the upper right corner.
- Select the task for which you want to set a triggering policy and click Next.
- Set the triggering policy by referring to the following table.
Trigger Type
Description
Manual
Manually start the release task.
- Set Type to Manual.
- Click OK.
After the manual triggering policy is set, you can manually start the release task by referring to Releasing a Region Release Task.
Scheduled
Triggers a pipeline at a scheduled time.
- Set Type to Scheduled.
- Disable Periodic Triggering.
- Set Triggered.
- Click OK.
Triggers the pipeline repeatedly.
- Set Type to Scheduled.
- Enable Periodic Triggering.
- Set Schedule, Triggered, Effective Time, and Days.
- Click OK.
- Click OK.
