Application Scenarios
DCS for Memcached instances can be accessed with or without passwords. After an instance is created, you can change its password settings. For details, see Configuring a Memcached Password.
Solution
If you want to access a password-free DCS for Memcached instance using a username and password, you can set a password for the instance using the password reset function. DCS for Memcached has been discontinued. Use DCS for Redis instead. For details, see Huawei Cloud Distributed Cache Service Memcached Is Discontinued.
Rule Logic
- If your DCS for Memcached instances are accessible without a password, the check result is non-compliant.
- If your DCS for Memcached instances are accessible with usernames and passwords, the check result is compliant.
