Managing Read Replicas

Using the RDS Console

  1. Click in the upper left corner and select a region.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  3. In the DB instance list, click to expand the DB instance details and click the target read replica name to go to the Summary page.

Using the DAS

  1. Click in the upper left corner and select a region.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  3. On the Instances page, locate the target DB instance and click in front of it. In the expanded panel, locate the read replica you want to manage and click Log In in the Operation column.
  4. On the displayed login page, enter the correct username and password and click Log In.

Deleting Read Replicas

  1. Click in the upper left corner and select a region.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > Relational Database Service.
  3. In the DB instance list, click in front of a DB instance, locate the read replica you want to delete, and choose More > Delete in the Operation column.
