Reviewing the R&D Requirement Baseline
The system allows you to initiate a baseline review for an R&D requirement. After the review is passed, the R&D requirement can be used as the baseline.
Baseline review cannot be initiated for requirements that have been baselined, are being reviewed, are being changed, or have been completed.
Prerequisites
- A project has been created.
- An R&D requirement has been created.
Procedure
- In the R&D requirement list, select the requirements that require baseline review.
Multiple R&D requirements can be selected for baseline review.
- Click Baseline Review in the operation menu at the bottom of the page. The page for creating a BR is displayed.
- Enter BR information.
By default, the baseline object is the requirement for which the baseline review is initiated.
- Click Submit. The Review page is displayed.
Choose to view the new baseline review.
- You can view the
icon of the requirements involved in the baseline review on the R&D Requirements page.
Follow-Up Operations
Track the approval progress of the BR ticket. The R&D requirement can be baselined only when the BR state changes to Approved.
