Assigning User/Group Access to Applications

Scenarios

You can assign users SSO access to applications. To simplify the management of access permissions, we recommend that you assign access directly to groups rather than to individual users. With groups, permissions can be assigned to or removed from groups of users, instead of being applied to each individual. If a user needs to access other applications, you can move the user to another group. Then, the user automatically obtains the required permissions for the corresponding application.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud management console.
2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Management & Governance > IAM Identity Center.
3. In the navigation pane, choose Applications.
4. Click the name of the application to which you want to assign users and groups.

5. In the Assigned Users and Groups area of the displayed page, click Assign User/Group.

6. In the dialog box displayed on the right, select the desired users or groups and click the arrow in the middle.

7. Click OK. The assigned users or groups are displayed in the list.
