Adding Users to or Removing Users from a Group

After an IAM Identity Center user is added to or removed from a specific IAM Identity Center group, the user gains or loses the permissions of that group. This way, you can change the user's permissions quickly.

If a user is added to multiple groups, the user inherits the permissions from all these groups.

Adding Users to a Group

  1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Management & Governance > IAM Identity Center.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Groups.
  4. In the group list, click a group name.

  5. In the Users in This Group area, click Add User to Group.
  6. In the user list, select the user to be added to the group and click OK.

Removing Users from a Group

  1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Management & Governance > IAM Identity Center.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Groups.
  4. In the group list, click a group name.

  5. In the user list, locate the user to be removed and click Remove in the Operation column.
  6. Click OK in the displayed dialog box.

  7. In the user list, select multiple users to be removed and click Remove User from Group.
  8. Click OK in the displayed dialog box.
