Managing Cluster Agents

You can upgrade the agent or uninstall it from a cluster.

Prerequisites

The cluster is running.

Constraints and Limitations

The agent can be upgraded only on CCE clusters. To use the latest HSS version for other types of clusters, uninstall the agent and connect it to the clusters again. For details, see Uninstall an Agent and Connecting to Container Assets.

Upgrading an Agent

HSS is periodically updated to improve its capabilities. You are advised to upgrade the agent to the latest version in a timely manner.

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. In the upper left corner of the page, select a region, click , and choose Security & Compliance > HSS.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Installation & Configuration > Container Install & Config.
  4. Click the Cluster tab.
  5. In the Operation column of a cluster, click Upgrade Agent.

    To upgrade the agent on CCE clusters in batches, select all target CCE clusters and click Upgrade Agent.

  6. Confirm the upgrade information and click OK.

    Wait for 5 to 10 minutes. Click the cluster name to go to the cluster node details page. If the agent versions of all nodes are the latest, the upgrade is successful.

Uninstall an Agent

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. In the upper left corner of the page, select a region, click , and choose Security & Compliance > HSS.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Installation & Configuration > Container Install & Config.
  4. Click the Cluster tab.
  5. In the Operation column of a node, click Uninstall Cluster.

    To uninstall CCE clusters in batches, select all target clusters and click Uninstall Agent. Clusters of other types cannot be uninstalled in batches.

  6. Confirm the uninstallation information and click OK.

    Wait for 5 to 10 minutes. Click the cluster name to go to the cluster node details page. If the agent status of all nodes is Not installed, the uninstallation is successful.
