Backing Up Audit Logs and Configuration Data
The system supports backing up audit logs and configuration files (including asset configuration, policy configuration, user configuration), which can be restored in case of issues or misoperations.
Procedure
- Log in to the web console of the API data security protection system as user sysadmin.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose System Management > Backup Restore.
- Click the Backup tab.
- To conduct a single backup, perform the following operations:
- In the manual backup area, click Manual Backup.
- In the Manual Backup dialog box, set Backup Type (audit log or configuration file), Backup Location, and Backup Scope.

You can save backup information directly on the server, and then click Download in the backup list to download it directly to your local PC.
- Click Confirm.
- To automatically back up audit logs, perform the following operations:
- Click Setting in the audit log auto backup area. Set the backup location and backup period. Click Confirm.
- Click
to enable automatic audit log backup.
- To automatically back up configuration data, perform the following operations:
- Click Setting in the configuration data auto backup area. Set the backup location and backup period. Click Confirm.
- Click
to enable the automatic backup of configuration data.
Operation Results
After each backup is completed, you can view the information of the backed-up logs in the audit log backup list and click Download to download the backup file to your local PC.
Related Operations
To delete a backup file, click Delete.
