Managing Identification Templates

Managing Identification Templates
You can modify the content of a custom template. For details, see Editing a Classification and Grading Template.
The rule category of a template can be modified. The Modifying a Rule Category section describes how to modify a rule category.
Constraints
A built-in template and the default identification template cannot be deleted.
Modifying an Identification Template
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
- In the navigation tree on the left, click
. Choose Security & Compliance > Data Security Center .
- In the navigation pane, choose Sensitive Data Identification > Identification Configuration. The Identification Template tab page is displayed.
- Locate the target template, click Details. The template details page is displayed.
- Click
after All to create a category.
- Move the cursor to a category name:
- Click the edit button to edit the category name.
- Click Delete to delete a category name.
- Click a category name on the left tree and view related category rules on the right.
- Click Add Rule in the upper left corner. For details, see Customizing a Rule.
- Click Batch Delete to delete the selected rules.
- Click
in the Status column to enable or disable a rule. After the rule is disabled, it will not take effect during identification using the template.
- Click Details in the Operation column to edit the rule content.
- Click Delete in the Operation column to delete a rule.

Modifying a Rule Category
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
- In the navigation tree on the left, click
. Choose Security & Compliance > Data Security Center .
- In the navigation pane, choose Sensitive Data Identification > Identification Configuration. The Identification Template tab page is displayed.
- Locate the target template, click Details. The template details page is displayed.
- Select the rules whose categories are to be modified.
- Click Modify Category in the upper left corner of the rule list. In the displayed dialog box, select the target category.
- Click OK. A message is displayed, indicating that the rule categories are modified.
Deleting an Identification Template
- Log in to the management console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the management console and select a region or project.
- In the navigation tree on the left, click
. Choose Security & Compliance > Data Security Center .
- In the navigation pane, choose Sensitive Data Identification > Identification Configuration. The Identification Template tab page is displayed.
- Click Delete under the corresponding classification and grading template to delete the template.
- Click OK. The classification and grading template in use cannot be deleted. Delete the corresponding identification task first and then delete the classification and grading template.
