Discovery Dictionary Configuration

During the configuration of sensitive data discovery rules, there exists one type of discovery rule.

Adding Dictionary

  1. Logging in to the Database Operations and Maintenance Management System using the sysadmin system administrator account.
  2. In the left navigation bar, select Rule Management> Discover Dictionary to view the classification information of the discovered dictionary library.
  3. The right side of the page defaults to displaying the dictionary information list for the first dictionary category.

    Classification of dictionaries.

    Type Code

    The encoding for dictionary classification.

    Value

    Dictionary value.

    Name

    The dictionary's business name.

    Parent Value

    The parent value of the dictionary.

    Actions

    Executable operations.

    • Delete
    • Edit

  4. Click a dictionary category in the left dictionary category list, and the right page displays the dictionary entries for that category in a paginated format.
  5. Click the Add New Value button in the upper-right corner to open the dictionary addition page.

  6. Enter dictionary values and other information.

  7. Click OK.

Related Operations

You can perform the following operations on the Discovery Dictionary Library page as required later:

  • Search: In the dictionary search area, enter the dictionary entry to quickly filter the specified dictionary information.
  • Edit: Select a discovery dictionary, click Edit to open the Edit Dictionary data page. Modify the configuration as needed, then click OK.
  • Delete: Select the Discovery Dictionary and click Delete to remove the dictionary information.

To add, delete or edit dictionary information, users shall select the specified dictionary category first.
