Proxy Deployment & Configuration Examples
In the proxy service model, the database operation and maintenance management system provides security protection through proxy assets. The network configuration in this example is shown in Figure 1.

- Logging in to the Database Operations and Maintenance Management System using the sysadmin system administrator account.
- In the left navigation pane, click Ops Asset Management > Ops Asset Proxy Server, and you can view the page of Proxy Service Information.

- Logging in to the Database Operations and Maintenance Management System using the sysadmin system administrator account.
- In the left navigation tree, select Ops Asset Management > Ops Asset DB, then click Add data source in the upper right corner of the page.
- Configure asset information in the pop-up window of Add data source.
- Click OK.
- Select the newly created O&M Asset Library.
- Click Automatic Security Configuration.
- The system will automatically create a corresponding proxy service for this asset library under Ops Asset Management > Ops Asset Proxy Server.
- Hover the mouse over the card of the newly created O&M Asset Library and click Proxy. The system will automatically redirect to the Ops Asset Management > Ops Asset Proxy Server page and locate the corresponding proxy service.
- Select the target proxy service and click Start.
This page presents the functions of the O&M asset proxy service and records the device address and port number adopted by the proxy. The bastion host client shall access data assets through the device address and proxy port in subsequent operations.

This document takes the bastion host WebSQL Tool as an example to illustrate how to connect to the database through the proxy of the database O&M management system.
- Database operators log in to the web platform and select Ops Bastion Host Inventory.
- Click One-Click Login.
- On the O&M Bastion Host page, select a data asset library and click the WEB terminal icon. A new tab for WebSQL will be opened in the browser.

- The bastion host will automatically populate the database user password and establish a database connection for O&M users without manual input.
- The database is connected successfully.
