System Backup and Recovery

Backup configuration information backs up all configuration data, including system configuration, asset management, sensitive data discovery, and key management information. For system reliability, it is recommended to back up system configuration information regularly.

Backup Configuration Information

  1. Logging In to the Database Encryption System using the system administrator (sysadmin) account.
  2. In the left navigation tree, select Systems Management > System Backup.
  3. Click Database Export, select the backup storage location from the dropdown menu in the Backup Method dialog box, and then run the export backup operation.

Restore Configuration Information

By importing a configuration file, you can restore configuration information to a specific backup point. This is typically used for fault recovery or device migration.

  1. Logging In to the Database Encryption System using the system administrator (sysadmin) account.
  2. In the left navigation tree, select Systems Management > System Backup.
  3. Click Database Import, select the SQL file, then click Confirm to execute the import – wait until the process is completed.
