Managing Indicators

Managing indicators involves viewing, editing, and deleting them, which is essential for maintaining data accuracy, updating business insights promptly, and optimizing decision-making processes. This section walks you through how to view, edit, and delete indicators, helping you better manage data.

Viewing an Indicator

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. Choose Data Management > Indicator.
  5. Click the target indicator name to go to the indicator details page and view the indicator details.

Editing an Indicator

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Management > Indicator.
  5. On the displayed page, locate the indicator you want to edit and click Edit in the Operation column. In the slide-out panel, edit the parameters and click OK.

Deleting an Indicator

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Management > Indicator.
  5. On the displayed page, locate the indicator you want to delete and click Delete in the Operation column.
  6. In the Delete Indicator dialog box that appears, confirm the information and click OK.

    Referenced atomic metrics, derivative metrics, and composite metrics cannot be deleted.
