No Viewing Rule
By using the column-level permission feature in the dataset, you can restrict a user or user group from viewing specific field data. Once set, users will only be able to view data within the defined rules, ensuring data security.
Prerequisites
A dataset has been created by referring to Creating a Dataset Through Visual Configuration.
Procedure
- Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
- Click
in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
- On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Management > Datasets.
- On the displayed page, locate the dataset for which you want to configure deny rules, click More in the Operation column, and select Column Permissions.
- In the slide-out panel, toggle Column Permissions on and click Create Rule.
- In Field, select one or more dimension and metric fields you want to authorize.
- Set Permission Rules to No viewing and set Effective Scope.
- Apply to all users: All users are prohibited from viewing the field.
- Apply to specific users: Selected users/user groups are prohibited from viewing this field, while other users outside of this selection are not restricted by this rule and can view the field.
- Exclude specific users: Selected users/user groups are not restricted by this rule and can view this field, while other users outside of this selection are restricted by this rule and are prohibited from viewing the field.
- Click OK.
