Querying Password Change Records
Scenarios
In the enterprise security management system, periodically updating the host account password is the core basic action to ensure system security. This can effectively reduce security risks caused by password leakage or use of old password that has not been changed for long time. After the administrator configures the periodic password change rule for an account, the system automatically updates the password based on the preset period. No manual intervention is required.
To balance security control and convenient user management, the platform provides the password change record function. You can view the final result (success or failure) of each password change in real time and obtain the latest account and password after the password change. In this way, a problem that a manually kept password is prone to loss and leakage is avoided, and it is ensured that you can obtain a valid credential at any time. All in all, the function strictly ensues system security and significantly improves password management efficiency.
