Solution

This upgrade uses a rolling upgrade for control plane nodes. After the upgrade, control plane node IP addresses will change, which may affect services that depend on them. Review the following scenarios:

• Service dependency check: Check whether any services use fixed control plane node IP addresses. If so, reconfigure those services to avoid hardcoded IP dependencies.
• Network security configuration check: Check whether any security group rules specify fixed control plane node IP addresses as sources or destinations. If so, update the rules to allow traffic from the control plane node security group, rather than restricting access to a specific fixed control plane node IP.
