Postpayment Terms
Billing cycle: A number of calendar months (one month by default). The bill for each month is generated on the third day of the following month.
Credit period: The period of time that Huawei Cloud gives you to pay bills, starting from the billing date to the due date. You are required to pay off your bills before the credit period ends. By default, the billing date is the due date.
Overdue: If you have not paid off a bill before 24:00:00 on the due date, such payment is overdue.
Grace period: When your yearly/monthly subscription has expired or your account is in arrears due to an insufficient account balance, Huawei Cloud provides a period for you to renew the resources or pay off the outstanding amount. During this period, you can still use some resources. The grace period for Huawei Cloud (International) is 15 days.
- If your account is in arrears due to an insufficient balance, you are not allowed to subscribe to new services.
- If your yearly/monthly subscriptions are not renewed and enter a grace period, you can continue to subscribe to new services.
If you are a Huawei Cloud direct sales or referral customer, or an enterprise customer using a master account for unified accounting and you do not have credit cards added or expenditure quota given, you can use test coupons to try out cloud services you have not used before. If the coupons are used up, expire, or cannot cover your expenditures, all pay-per-use resources in your account will enter the retention period. Any yearly/monthly resources that have taken effect are not affected.
Retention period: After the grace period ends, if your yearly/monthly subscriptions are still not renewed or the outstanding amount for pay-per-use resources is still not paid off, the retention period starts. During this period, the resources cannot be used, but the resource data stored will be retained. The retention period for Huawei Cloud (International) is 15 days.
Due date: The last day you can pay a bill and it not be considered a late payment. If there is no credit period, the due date is the billing date.
