- From Istio 1.21.0, you cannot configure the PILOT_ENABLE_INBOUND_PASSTHROUGH=false environment variable in Istiod to allow service pods binding to lo. (Learn more.) If you use ASM 1.28 or later, listen on eth0 or all IP addresses. Otherwise, services cannot be accessed. (Learn more.)
