Creating a Dual-active Relationship

Procedure

1. Log in to the management console.
2. In the service list, choose Databases > GeminiDB Redis API.
3. On the Instances page, locate the instance that you want to create a dual-active relationship for and choose More > Create Dual-Active Relationship in the Operation column.

4. In the Create Dual-Active Relationship dialog box, select another instance as the dual-active standby instance. If there are no instances available, the network configuration is unavailable or does not meet Precautions. Contact customer service.

5. Click OK.
6. On the Instances page, view and manage the two instances between them a dual-active relationship is created.
   • When the dual-active relationship is being created, the instance status is Creating dual-active relationship.

   • After the creation is complete, the instance status changes to Available.

     You can click the refresh button in the upper right corner of the page to refresh the instance status.
