How Can I View the Version of an RDS DB Instance?

On the Instances page of the RDS console, view the version of the DB instance.

On the DAS console, perform the following steps to view the version of the target DB instance:
1. Log in to the target DB instance.
2. On the top menu bar, choose SQL Operations > SQL Query.
3. Run select @@version; to view the version of the DB instance.
