How Do I Purchase RDS for SQL Server Instances on Huawei Cloud?

Context

RDS for SQL Server is provided by a third party in Huawei Cloud KooGallery. This document describes how to purchase RDS for SQL Server instances.

Procedure

1. Ask for a price quotation.

   Ask for a quotation on the required specifications by choosing Service Tickets > Create Service Ticket.

2. Contact the third party.

   Send a purchase request to sales@edenyun.com. The request should contain the following information:

   • Purchase requirements, including the region, specifications, and the quotation (which will be reviewed by the third party).
   • Requested discount. The third party will evaluate whether the discount can be approved based on purchase orders.
   • Huawei Cloud account (including username and account ID), which will be added to the whitelist after the contract is signed.
3. Sign a contract.

   The third party will send a contract to you for confirmation and signing based on your request.

4. Get you whitelisted.

   After you sign the contract, the third party will add you to the whitelist. Then, you can purchase RDS for SQL Server instances on the RDS console.

5. Make an offline payment.

   Make an offline payment to the third party as contracted.
