Service Overview
Based on Huawei Cloud IaaS, the IaaS Migration Support Service is provided by Huawei Cloud to offer migration solutions for customers and assist customers in migration verification and implementation according to the information provided by the customers such as source servers, object storage, and file storage.
The IaaS Migration Support Service offers standard processes, guides, tools, and comprehensive methodologies to help customers migrate source data such as data from servers, object storage, and file storage to Huawei Cloud. It resolves various problems encountered during the migration to improve the migration efficiency and ensure that the entire migration is correct.

Prerequisites
- Customers need to apply for the IaaS Migration Support Service 15 days in advance so that Huawei can evaluate their service objectives and service schedule.
- Huawei needs to obtain customer authorization when using the IaaS Migration Support Service to migrate customer services.
Service Scope
- Items Covered
In this project, Huawei Cloud services provide the following:
- According to the scope of applications and data to be migrated clarified by both parties, collect IT asset information of application systems, survey the systems, system statuses, and technology stack and service scenarios (including association analysis) of the systems to be migrated.
- Design the migration solution and implementation process within the agreed service scope.
- Assist customers in testing the migration solution and migration tools.
- Assist customers in implementing the migration after being authorized by customers.
- Assist customers in implementing the migration and provide stability assurance support and technical support after the migration is complete.
- Items Not Covered
In this project, Huawei Cloud services do not provide the following:
- Design, install, deploy, and reconstruct application software and databases on customers' servers.
- Design the cloud platform infrastructure and set up environment.
- Migrate basic communication components required for the migration implementation.
- Migrate application systems and data that are not clearly identified in the service scope.
- Customers need to pay the fees generated during the migration, such as the fees generated by cloud resource deployment and migration tools, migration network (public network/private line), and outbound traffic.

Responsibility Matrix
- Shared Responsibilities
Both parties agree on and confirm the specific service objectives and scope, formulate a plan, set up a team, and develop an acceptance solution after the migration is complete.
- Huawei's Responsibilities
- Collect source information and survey service scenarios and system status with the customer assistance, and provide the IaaS Information Survey Table for Customer XX.
- Provide the migration solution and implementation solution.
- Assist customers in testing the migration solution based on the IaaS Migration Solution for Customer XX.
- Assist customers in migrating IaaS resources.
- After the migration is complete, provide technical support for seven calendar days to help customers ensure service stability.
- Provide the IaaS Migration Acceptance Report for Customer XX and assist customers in accepting the migration.
- Customer's Responsibilities
- Provide source information and related authorization required for designing and implementing the migration solution.
- Test the environment and tools based on the designed IaaS migration solution.
- Prepare the migration environment, such as migration accounts and network private lines.
- Verify the consistency and integrity of the application systems and data after the migration is complete.
- Accept the migration.

- Huawei Cloud takes no responsibility for failure of any third-party device or system caused by the reasons not attributable to Huawei Cloud.
- Customers shall ensure that the installed operating systems and application software do not infringe on the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party. If a third party claim is caused by the breach of provisions, the customer shall bear full responsibilities.

Huawei Cloud can perform operations such as migration solution verification test and migration implementation in the customer's service environment only after being fully authorized by the customer.
Acceptance Criteria
Submit the deliverables of each service item according to the following criteria. Customers can confirm the acceptance on the official website and sign or seal the IaaS Migration Acceptance Report for Customer XX as the basis for service acceptance.
