Basic Concepts

Bidirectional Audit

In bidirectional audit, both requests and responses to the database are audited.

Bypass Mode

Bypass mode is a system running mode. It is used to bypass the common check mechanism when the device or system is abnormal to ensure the normal running of core functions.

DBSS works in out-of-path mode, which neither affects user services nor conflicts with the local audit tools.

On-cloud and on-premises/Off-cloud

On-cloud/On-premises: Indicates that resources are deployed on Huawei Cloud.

Off-cloud: Indicates that resources are deployed on a non-Huawei Cloud server, such as on another vendor's cloud or offline.

Disk Capacity Usage

On the system monitoring page of the DBSS console, the disk is the data center zone.

Disk capacity indicates the total available memory of the DBSS data center zone.

Disk usage indicates the used ratio of the DBSS data center zone.
