Bills
You can go to Billing Center > Billing to view resource usage and bills by billing cycle.
Bill Generation
Resource use in KVS is billed on an hourly basis.
You are not billed immediately when a billing cycle ends. For example, the billing for the cycle from 7:00:00 to 8:00:00 usually happens between around 8:30:00 and 8:40:00. In the navigation pane of Billing Center, choose Billing > Expenditure Items, where the Expenditure Time column indicates when a resource was used.
Viewing Bills of a Specific Resource
- Log in to the KVS console.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Stores.
- In the store list, copy the name of the store whose bills you want to view.
- Click the store name to go to its details page.
- On the Tables tab, copy the name of the required table in the list.
- On the top menu bar, choose Billing > Bills.
- In the navigation pane, choose Billing > Expenditure Details.
- Choose a billing cycle and specify a display dimension (Usage by default).
- In the search box, select Resource Name as the filter criterion, enter the store name and table name copied respectively in 3 and 5 in the format storename.tablename, and press Enter to obtain the bills of the table.
Click Export above the search box to export expenditure details.
Checking the Consistency of the Actual Usage and Billed Usage

In Billing Center, the standard write request unit "million WRUs" is displayed as Million times, and the standard read request unit "million RRUs" is displayed as Million times.
Assume that from 8:00:00 to 9:00:00 on April 30, 2024, your table occupied 10 GB of storage, with no requests made. From 9:00:00 to 10:00:00 on the same day, it processed 10 WRUs from the upload of a KV item.
- KVS expenditure items
Tables are billed on an hourly basis. You can check the expenditure items against the actual usage. For details, see Table 1.

Amount |
Amount = List price – Discount – Truncated amount Take the first billing cycle as an example. If the discount is $0.00 USD, the amount due is $0.00 USD ($0.00459 USD - $0.00 USD - $0.00459 USD). |
- KVS expenditure details
Expenditure details can be displayed in multiple ways. By default, the expenditure details of a resource are displayed by usage and by billing cycle. Table 2 illustrates the expenditure details, which can be used to check against the actual usage.
