From Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use

After creating a yearly/monthly cluster, you can change it to pay-per-use for more flexibility, and you can recoup part of what you paid for the subscription.

Pay-per-use billing will be applied only after the yearly/monthly billing duration ends.

Prerequisites

  • The cluster billing mode is yearly/monthly.
  • The cluster status is Available.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the CSS management console.
  2. In the navigation pane on the left, expand Clusters. Select a cluster type based on the target cluster. The cluster list is displayed.
  3. In the cluster list, find the target cluster, and choose More > Pay-per-Use After Expiration in the Operation column.
  4. In the displayed dialog box, confirm the information and click OK. The pay-per-use after expiration page is displayed.
  5. On the displayed page, confirm the billing information and click pay-per-use after expiration.
  6. Return to the cluster list and check whether the billing mode of the target cluster is yearly/monthly. The time when the billing mode is changed to pay-per-use is displayed in the following figure.
