Renewal Overview

Description

After a yearly/monthly subscription expires, Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas cannot run properly. To continue using the service, you need to renew it within the specified period to avoid restrictions on your projects and pages. If you renew the service before the expiration date, Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas will continue to run properly.

If you've subscribed to expansion packages for adding pages, the renewal fee will include both the instance package fee and the expansion package fee.

Renewal

Renew a yearly/monthly subscription by referring to Table 1.

Description

Manually Renewing an Instance

You can renew a yearly/monthly Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas instance on its console anytime before it is automatically deleted.

Auto Renewal

You can enable auto-renewal to automatically renew Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas resources before it expires. This prevents resources from being deleted in case you forget to renew a subscription.

You can select a method to renew your Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas resources based on the phase it is currently in. See Figure 1.

Figure 1 Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas lifecycle
  • The resource is in the Running status after it is provisioned.
  • When the subscription expires, the status will change from Running to Expired.
  • If you do not renew the subscription when the resource expires, the grace period will start. If you do not renew the subscription after the grace period ends, the resource status will change from Expired to Frozen.
  • If you do not renew the subscription before the retention period expires, all functions will be disabled.

Huawei Cloud determines different grace periods and retention periods by Customer Level.

You can enable auto-renewal at any time before a Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas resource expires. By default, the system will attempt to charge your account for the renewal at 03:00, seven days before the expiry date. If this attempt fails, it will make another attempt at 03:00 every day until the subscription is renewed or expires. By default, fees are deducted seven days before your subscription expires. You can change this deduction date as required.
