Impact on the System
The interface alternates between Up and Down states.
Possible Causes
The interface begins to work in half duplex mode. When the interface works in full duplex mode, a full duplex alarm is generated.
Procedure
- Check whether the duplex state of the interface is correct according to networking requirements.
Run the display interface interface-type [ interface-number ] command to check the duplex state of the interface.
- If the duplex state of the interface is incorrect, modify the interface configuration.
- If the duplex state of the interface is correct, go to step 2.
- End.
