What Does a Timeout Command Mean
After sending a command to the IoT platform, if the IoT platform does not receive an ACK message from the device within 225s, the command status changes to Timeout. To rectify the fault, perform the following operations:
- Check the work mode of the device. If the work mode is DRX, the device must report a heartbeat message every 25 hours.
To obtain the work mode of the device, contact the carrier.
- On the Developer Center, choose
to check the time when the IoT platform sends the command. Then, contact the network carrier and module manufacturer to check whether an ACK message is returned. Figure 1 Viewing the time when the command is sent
