Shared Bandwidths
A shared bandwidth allows multiple EIPs to share the same bandwidth. All ECSs, BMSs, and load balancers that have EIPs bound in the same region can use the same shared bandwidth. This helps you reduce network OpEx and simplify O&M statistics.
You can add pay-per-use EIPs to or remove them from a shared bandwidth without worrying about what types of EIPs they are or what instances they are bound to.
Bandwidth Sharing
Each EIP uses a dedicated bandwidth.
EIPs share a bandwidth, saving 37.5% costs.
Access Peaks
95th percentile bandwidth billing
A sample measurement (
) is taken every 5 minutes.
All sample measurements in a day are sequenced in descending order. The fifth largest measurement is used as the daily peak bandwidth.
Average monthly peak bandwidth
All sample daily peak bandwidths in a month are sequenced in descending order. The average of the top five daily peak bandwidths is the average monthly peak bandwidth (
).
Expenditure of a month = Average monthly peak bandwidth x Number of days in use x Bandwidth unit price
There is no limit on peak bandwidth. You are billed based on the actual bandwidth usage.
