How Do I View Deadlock Logs of GaussDB?

Database deadlock logs are recorded in error logs. If Error Log Collection is enabled, you can download error logs and quickly locate deadlock-related records by searching for keywords Lock wait timeout in the logs.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
  3. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Databases > GaussDB.
  4. On the Instances page, click the name of the target instance to go to the Basic Information page.
  5. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Log Analysis.
  6. On the Error Logs tab, select a specified time period and click Download in the Operation column to download the error log file.
  7. Open the error log file, and search for Lock wait timeout to quickly locate deadlock errors.
