ELB Mode Overview
The website traffic is distributed to your WAF instances over load balancers and then sent to your origin servers. Scalable: You can purchase multiple WAF instances to improve the overall performance of the instance group. Better fault recovery capability: If your WAF instance becomes faulty, your website traffic is directly sent to your origin servers through ELB without affecting your workloads. In this mode, WAF protects web applications on the cloud only.
Protected objects: web applications or websites that can be directly accessed through domain names or IP addresses
Instance type: Dedicated
Deployment: Ready for use
Port: All Ports
Traffic forwarding method: ELB load balancer. No manual configuration is required.
Access mode: Domain name and IP address
