Dedicated Mode Overview

You can deploy WAF instances in your VPC to exclusively use resources and customize instance specifications. This mode allows you to easily protect web applications and websites that can be accessed through domains names, IP addresses, VPN connections, and Direct Connect connections. In this mode, WAF protects web applications on the cloud only.

Mode: Reverse proxy (in-path deployment)

Protected objects: web applications or websites that can be directly accessed through domain names or IP addresses

Supported protocols: HTTP and HTTPS

Traffic forwarding method: Route

Port: All ports (batch adding ports in ELB)

Advantages: Flexible deployments, all service scenarios supported
