Cloud Mode Overview

You can easily deploy WAF within several minutes. WAF protects web applications and websites on and off the cloud.

Mode: Reverse proxy (in-path deployment)

Protected objects: web applications or websites that can be directly accessed through domain names

Supported protocols: HTTP and HTTPS

Traffic forwarding method: CNAME records in DNS

Port: Specified Port (Only the professional and enterprise editions allow you to specify ports.)

Advantages: Protection for cloud and off-cloud websites | Ready for use

Protected objects: web applications or websites that can be directly accessed through domain names or IP addresses

Supported protocols: HTTP and HTTPS

Traffic forwarding method: Mirrored ELB traffic

Port: All Ports

Advantages: Real-time blocking, high-reliability networking, no risk of service interruptions
