Bandwidth Type

Description

EIPs that can be added to a shared bandwidth must be of the same type as the bandwidth.

  • Standard: Dynamic BGP and static BGP EIPs can be added to a shared bandwidth of this type.
  • Premium BGP: Premium BGP EIPs can be added to a shared bandwidth of this type.

In the CN-Hong Kong region, only dynamic BGP EIPs can be added to standard shared bandwidths.

  • Standard

    Dynamic BGP provides automatic failover and chooses the best path based on the real-time network conditions and preset policies. The BGP public network egress supports switchover across domains within seconds, providing your users with high-speed and secure networks.

    Standard shared bandwidths are suitable for services that require high network stability and connectivity.

  • Premium BGP

    BGP is used to interconnect with lines of multiple mainstream carriers. Public networks that feature low latency and high quality are directly established between the Chinese mainland and Hong Kong (China). This avoids the need to bypass the egress network of an international carrier and enhances service delivery to Chinese mainland users.

    Premium BGP is now available only in the CN-Hong Kong region.

  • Premium BGP bandwidths do not support shared data packages or bandwidth add-on packages.
