Cloud Eye
Description
- Server monitoring
Monitoring is a key to ensuring ECS performance, reliability, and availability. Using monitoring data, you can determine ECS resource usage. Server monitoring enables detailed monitoring to collect OS metrics. These metrics help you understand the resource utilization and locate a fault.
After you enable detailed monitoring, an agent will be automatically installed on the ECS to provide 1-minute fine-grained monitoring of ECS metrics, such as vCPUs, memory, network, disk, and process. For details about the installation and configuration of the Agent, see Agent Installation and Configuration. You can view the ECS OS monitoring metrics on the Cloud Eye console.
For details about the monitoring metrics after the agent is installed, see OS Monitoring Metrics Supported by ECSs with the Agent Installed.
- Customizing ECS alarm rules
Setting ECS alarm rules allows you to customize the monitored objects and notification policies and determine the running states of your ECSs at any time.
For details, see Setting Alarm Rules.
