  • Website access: DNS resolution is used for access. High-defense IP addresses are not provided. This type of service is suitable for users who use domain names.
  • IP access: IP port protection and high-defense IP addresses are provided. This feature is applicable to users who use Layer 4 forwarding rules.

Does an Advanced Anti-DDoS Instance Support Both Website and IP Address Access?

For security purposes, an instance supports only one access type. If you have multiple service types, purchase instances of different access types.

How Do I Connect Website Services to AAD?

You can use the Canonical Name (CNAME)-based access to connect your website service to AAD so that access traffic will be directed to the high-defense IP address. All public network traffic is diverted to the high-defense IP address, and therefore user services on the origin servers are protected against DDoS attacks.
