Stopping a Notebook Instance
Function
This API is used to stop a notebook instance that is running.
This API applies to the following scenario: When you need to release the resources occupied by a notebook instance or stop a running task, you can use this API to stop a specified notebook instance. Before using this API, ensure that you have logged in to the system and have the permission to perform operations on the target notebook instance. In addition, the notebook instance must be running. After this API is called, the system stops the specified notebook instance and releases related resources. If you do not have the permission to perform operations on the specified notebook instance or the notebook instance is not running, the API will return an error message. If the specified notebook instance is not found or the stop fails, the API will return an error message.
Constraints
No constraints
Debugging
You can debug this API through automatic authentication in API Explorer or use the SDK sample code generated by API Explorer.
Authorization Information
Each account has all the permissions required to call all APIs, but IAM users must be assigned the required permissions.
- If you are using role/policy-based authorization, see Permissions Policies and Supported Actions for details on the required permissions.
- If you are using identity policy-based authorization, the following identity policy-based permissions are required.
