Creating an Agent Pool
Background
You can add your own execution resources to the agent pool. When executing a task, you can select an agent in the pool to execute the task, improving efficiency without depending on public execution resources.
Procedure
- Log in to the CodeArts homepage and click the username icon
on the tool bar. - Choose .
- Click Agent Pool > Agent Pool. On the displayed Pools page, click Create Pool, configure the pool, and click Save.

Description
Pool Name
Name of the agent pool, which can be customized as required. Enter a maximum of 50 characters, including digits, letters, periods (.), underscores (_), and hyphens (-).
Pool Type
Supported pool types:
- LINUX: Tasks are executed on a Linux VM.
- LINUX_DOCKER: A Linux Docker container is started and tasks are executed in the container.
- WINDOWS: Tasks are executed on a Windows VM.
- MAC: The agent registration command is run on a MAC host.
Description
Enter a description. Enter a maximum of 1,024 characters.
This pool can be used by all users of the current account.
If this parameter is selected, all users of the current account can use the pool.
- View the new record after the creation is successful.
