How Do I Complete Huawei Cloud Account Information?
After you create an account for the Huawei Cloud International website, complete the account information on the Complete Information page or on the Basic Information page.
Completing Account Information on the Complete Information Page
- Go to the Complete Information page.
- Click Send Code, and enter the verification code received by email.
- Click Next.
- Enter a mobile number allocated in the region where your account is registered, click Send Code, and enter the SMS verification code in the text box.
- Click Next.
- Select an account type (Individual or Enterprise), and enter the required information.
- Click Next.
- Bind a credit card to your account by referring to Adding a Payment Method
You have completed your account information. If you do not want to bind a card, click Cancel.
- (Optional) To perform real-name authentication for your account, click Authenticate.
Real-name authentication is required only when you need to purchase cloud resources in Chinese mainland regions. For details, see Real-Name Authentication.
Completing Account Information on the Basic Information Page
- Go to the Basic Information page.
- If you have not bound a mobile number to your account, bind one by performing the following steps. If you have already bound one, go to 3.
- Click Bind.
- Click Verify next to Email.
- Click Send Code, enter the email verification code, and click Next.
- Enter a mobile number, click Send Code, and enter the verification code.
- Click OK.
- Click Bind.
- Complete the basic information about your Huawei Cloud account.
- In the Basic Information area, click Edit.
- Select an account type (Individual or Enterprise), and enter the required information.
You can set the account type on the Edit Information page when the account type has not been specified.
- If your HUAWEI ID has not passed real-name authentication, the account type can be changed from an individual account to an enterprise account, but cannot be changed from an enterprise account to an individual account.
- If your HUAWEI ID has passed real-name authentication, the account type cannot be changed once being set. If you need to change the account type, see Changing the Owner of an Individual Account to an Enterprise.
- In the Basic Information area, click Edit.
- (Optional) To perform real-name authentication for your account, click Authenticate.
