Uploading to an OBS Bucket
Procedure
- You are advised to use OBS Browser+ to upload an external image file to your OBS bucket. For details, see OBS Browser+ Best Practices.
- For how to download OBS Browser+, see Downloading OBS Browser+.
- For how to install OBS Browser+, see Installing OBS Browser+.
- For how to log in to OBS Browser+, see Logging In to OBS Browser+.
- The bucket file and the image to be registered must belong to the same region.
- Only unencrypted external ISO image files can be uploaded to the OBS bucket.
- Only unencrypted external image files can be imported to the OBS bucket using the quick import function.
- The storage class of the OBS bucket and image files must be Standard.
- Only unencrypted external image files or those encrypted using SSE-KMS can be uploaded to the OBS bucket.
