Suspending the Release of a Release Task

During release task release, if the component configuration is incorrect, you can click Abort to stop the release.

Prerequisites

The release task is in the Releasing state. For details about how to check the release task status, see Viewing a Release Task.

Procedure

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose Release Management.

    • If the Release Management page of the old version is displayed by default, go to 4.

    • If the Release Management page of the new version is displayed by default, go to 3.

      Overview describes release management of the new version.

  3. Click Old Edition to switch to the Release Management page of the old version.

    The data of the old and new versions are isolated. Switching them will not cause release task data loss.

  4. Select the target release task in the Releasing state.

    • Directly suspend: Click More > Abort in the Operation column.
    • Suspend after viewing details: Click the target release task to go to its Release Management page, view the details, and click Abort.

  5. Click OK.

    Wait until release task status changes from Suspending to Suspended, which indicates that the release task is suspended.
