Backing up and Restoring Encryption Rules and Keys

If a key is lost during the encryption process, the data will be unable to be recovered. Therefore, the system provides capabilities for backing up and restoring keys. The backed-up keys should be securely stored to prevent loss or damage.

• Backup: Click Backup to use the backup function to save the key and algorithm information locally for backup, as shown in Figure 1.

• Restore: Click Recovery to use the Restore function to upload key and algorithm information to the server; after selecting the file, click Confirm to upload it.

  The uploaded file will undergo various validations; the file must be in.xls format and cannot exceed 10 MB in size. After uploading, the system will decrypt and validate the file content; upon successful validation, the current encrypted rule list information will be overwritten, as shown in Figure 2.
