Encryption Verification

To meet data compliance management requirements, the data in the database must be capable of detecting its integrity-specifically, whether the data has been manually altered.

1. Logging In to the Database Encryption System using the system administrator sysadmin account.
2. Select Project Management in the left navigation tree.
3. Select the desired project and enter the project.
4. In the left navigation tree, select Encryption Settings Management > Encryption verification settings.
5. Select the table to be validated and select the Data Structures tab.

6. Click Data Integrity Check to run the check.

About the Abstract

Generate summary: Create a summary column from the selected column data and encrypt the data from the validation column for storage in this summary column.

Encryption Verification: Click this button. The system will display a prompt indicating whether the integrity verification column of this table has been suspected of tampering.

Reset Summary: When you need to adjust the check column, reset the summary column data first. Recheck the option to save the check column, then regenerate the summary column.

• Click the Data Integrity Check button, and the system will automatically perform the verification.
• The system will conduct a comprehensive review of the data, identifying and verifying that all data originates from the encryption system and has not been unauthorizedly modified.
• If the data is complete and unmodified, the verification will pass successfully.
• If any data not generated by the system or modified is detected, the verification will fail and prompt the user to take appropriate action.
• Ensure all data is properly encrypted and securely stored before performing data integrity checks.
• Regular data integrity checks help promptly identify potential data security risks, ensuring the continuity of business processes and the reliability of data.
