Logging In to the Database Encryption System

Prerequisite

• You have already set a password for the sysadmin user when purchasing an encrypted instance. If you forget this password, please refer to the Reset Administrator Login Password section to reset the sysadmin user's password.
• You have purchased an encrypted instance. Click More in the Operation column of the target instance, then click Reset Password from the pop-up menu to set an initial password for the secadmin and audadmin users. For detailed instructions on resetting passwords, please refer to Reset Administrator Login Password.
• Compatible with mainstream web browsers.

System Built-in Users

The default username is shown in Table 1; the initial password is the one set by the user when purchasing the instance.

Logging in to the Instance Web Management Console

1. Log in to the DBSS console..
2. Click in the upper left corner on the displayed page and select a region.
3. Select Database Security Audit (Encryption Enhancement) from the left navigation tree to access the Database Security Audit (Encryption Enhancement) interface.
4. Select one of the following two methods to log in to the instance (the first method is recommended).
   • Method 1: On the Database Security Audit (Encryption Enhancement) page, click Remote Login in the Operation column for the target instance, as shown in Figure 1Figure 2.

   • Method 2: Access the Database Security Audit (encrypted enhancement) page using Method 1; then locate the Elastic IP entry in the Elastic IP column of the table on the right side, as shown in Figure 1. Enter the access URL into the browser's address bar and press Enter to navigate to the login page.

     Access URL: https://server elastic IP address: port; e.g., https://100.xx.xx.54:9595.

5. (Optional) On the Security Alert page, click Advanced, as shown in Figure 3.

6. (Optional) In the Details section, click Continue to xx.xx.xx.xx (Unsecure), as shown in Figure 4.

7. Enter your username, password, and verification code, then click Log in, as shown in Figure 5.

8. After your first login, you will need to change the default password; for detailed instructions, please refer to the Change Login Password.

   During ongoing use, we recommend changing your password regularly to ensure login security.

Change Login Password

Regularly changing your passwords ensures that previously leaked or stolen passwords become completely invalid, thereby mitigating the risks of account compromise arising from credential stuffing attacks, Trojan horse threats, or leftover credentials on outdated devices. This helps reduce the likelihood of privacy or financial theft and provides ongoing protection for your account security; we recommend users change their passwords periodically. If you forget your password, you can reset it; for detailed instructions, please refer to the Reset Administrator Login Password.

1. In the Web Console, hover your mouse over the username in the top-right corner to display the Change Password dropdown menu, as shown in Figure 6.

2. In the drop-down menu, click Change Password.
3. In the Password Change dialog box, enter the original password and the new password, then click Confirm. The new password requirements are shown in Table 2.

   Parameter	Description
   Original Password	Enter your original login password.
   New Password	Enter the new password you have modified. Password setup requirements: For security and ease of memory, it is recommended that the length range be between 8 and 26 characters; the minimum length should be 8 characters. Rule requirement: The string may contain uppercase English letters (A–Z), lowercase English letters (a–z), digits (0–9), or special characters (!@$%^-_=+[{}]:,. /? ~#*), and must include at least two of these types. Avoid including usernames or usernames sorted in reverse order.
   Confirm Password	Re-enter the modified new password.

4. After completing the modifications, please log out of the Web Console and log back in using your new password.

Reset Administrator Login Password

1. Log in to the DBSS console..
2. Click in the upper left corner on the displayed page and select a region.
3. Select Database Security Audit (encrypted enhancement) from the left navigation tree to access the Database Security Audit (encrypted enhancement) interface, as shown in Figure 6.

4. In the Operation column, click More.
5. Click Reset Password from the pop-up menu, as shown in Figure 7.

6. In the Password Reset dialog box, select the user you wish to reset, enter the login password and the confirmation password, then click OK. The new password Strategy is shown in Table 3.

   Parameter	Description
   Username	The dropdown menu contains only three administrator users: sysadmin, secadmin, and audadmin.
   Login Password	Enter a new login password. Password setup requirements: For security and ease of memory, it is recommended that the length range be between 8 and 26 characters; the minimum length should be 8 characters. Rule requirement: The string may contain uppercase English letters (A–Z), lowercase English letters (a–z), digits (0–9), or special characters (!@$%^-_=+[{}]:,. /? ~#*), and must include at least two of these types.    Confirm Password	The login password must match the entered password.

7. After completing the modification, wait approximately 1 minute before using your new password to log in to the instance Web Console.
