Logging In to the Database Encryption System

The system administrator logs into the database encryption/decryption and data masking console via a web browser to manage and maintain these functions.

The default username upon factory delivery is as specified in Table 1; the actual username and password should be obtained from the manufacturer.

System Administrator

sysadmin

Primarily responsible for system configuration and daily operation and maintenance. The default password is the one set for the application instance; reset it upon your first login.

For specific operations, refer to the System Administrator Operation Guide.

Security Administrator

secadmin

Primarily responsible for system user management and system security management. The default password is the same as the sysadmin password set when applying for an instance; reset the password upon first login.

For specific operations, refer to the Security Administrator Operation Guide.

Audit Administrator

audadmin

Primarily responsible for auditing, tracking, analyzing, and supervising the operational activities of system administrators and security administrators. The default password matches the sysadmin user password set during instance creation; the password must be reset upon the first login.

Prerequisite

  • You have obtained the login username and password from the technical support engineer.
  • Supports mainstream browsers on the market.

Operating steps

  1. Log in instance.

    • Method 1: Log in to the Service Management Console, navigate to the Database Encryption/Decryption and Desensitization page, and click Local Login in the Operation column of the target instance.
    • Method 2: Use the database encryption/decryption and data masking page accessed via Method 1 to obtain an elastic IP address. Enter the access address in the browser address bar, press Enter, and proceed to the login interface.

      Access address: https://; Server elastic IP address: Port, e.g., https://100.xx.xx.54:9595.

  2. (Optional) On the security alert page, click Advanced.

  3. (Optional) In the details section, click Continue to xx.xx.xx.xx (not secure).

  4. Enter your username, password, and verification code, then click Log in.

  5. After your first login, you need to change the default password. For detailed instructions, refer to the Changing the Login Password.

    To ensure secure login, we recommend changing your password regularly during continued use.

Changing the Login Password

  1. In the Web console, move the mouse to the username in the upper-right corner.

  2. In the dropdown, click Change Password.
  3. In the password modification dialog box, enter the original password and the new password, then click Confirm. The new password rules are shown in Table 2.

    After making the changes, log out of the Web Console and log in again with the new password.

    Enter the old login password.

    Enter the new password after modification.

    Password requirements:

    • Range: 8 to 26 characters. The length must be at least 8 characters and no more than 26 characters.
    • Rule requirements: You can set uppercase English letters (A - Z), lowercase English letters (a - z), numbers (0 - 9), and special characters (!@$%^-_=+[{}]:,.,./?~#*), and must include at least three of these types.
    • You cannot include a username or a username in reverse order.

    Confirm Password

    Re-enter the modified password.
