Configuring an Agency for Accessing OBS
Overview
DataArts Studio can access OBS without AK/SK through an IAM agency. To enable this function, enable Use Agency for a data connection and configure a scheduling identity in DataArts Factory.
Prerequisites
- You have the IAM administrator permissions.
- You have created an OBS bucket to be accessed.
Creating an Agency
- Log in to the IAM console, choose Agencies in the navigation pane, and click Create Agency.
- Set Agency Type to Cloud service and Cloud Service to Data Lake Governance Center (DGC). Figure 1 Selecting an agency type
- Select the OBS OperateAccess authorization policy. Figure 2 Selecting an authorization policy
- Complete the creation.
Configuring an OBS Connection
- Log in to the DataArts Studio console, access the Management Center page, and choose Manage Data Connection.
- Create an OBS connection and select only DataArts Migration for Applicable Modules. (Only DataArts Migration supports agencies.) Figure 3 Selecting the module
- Enable Use Agency and select the agency you have created. Figure 4 Configuring an agency
- Test the connection and save the settings.
Configuring a Job Scheduling Identity
- On the DataArts Factory page, open the target job and click Basic Info on the right. Figure 5 Configuring basic job information
- Select the created agency for Job Agency.
- Save the job.
