Viewing Metrics and Events Supported by Cloud Services on the Console

Cloud Eye provides a dashboard for viewing all metrics and system events. You can quickly view and filter metrics and system events supported by cloud services on a unified page, greatly improving monitoring efficiency and user experience.

You can check the metrics and system events supported by each cloud service in Huawei Cloud Help Center. You can click reference links for metrics in Cloud Product Metrics and events in Events Supported by Event Monitoring.

Cloud Eye can monitor dimensions nested to up to four levels (levels 0 to 3). Level 3 is the deepest level. For example, if the monitored dimension of an ECS metric is instance_id,mount_point, instance_id indicates level 0 and mount_point indicates level 1.

Constraints

  • In regions where event monitoring is not supported, you can only view metric dashboards.
  • The metrics or events displayed on the dashboard may differ from those actually supported by each cloud service, as the versions of Cloud Eye and each cloud service may vary. The actual data reported by the cloud services prevails.
  • Currently, you can view metrics or events supported by cloud services on the console only in some regions. This function will be available in other regions soon. For details, see the console.
